Sourdough Care Tips

    Eat Within 2–3 Days

    Best enjoyed fresh. Flavor and texture peak in the first couple of days.

    Store in a Paper Bag

    A paper bag lets the crust breathe and stay crisp. Avoid plastic — it traps moisture.

    Freeze Up to 6 Months

    Slice before freezing for easy access. Sourdough freezes beautifully.

    Re-Crisp at 375°F

    Revive a day-old loaf in the oven at 375°F for 8–10 minutes. Crust comes right back.

    Toast Frozen Slices

    No need to thaw — frozen slices go straight into the toaster for a quick, crispy result.

    Don't Refrigerate

    The fridge dries out the crumb and makes sourdough go stale faster. Room temp or freezer only.
